Mainstream and SEN Teachers Required

Due to a shortage of specialist SEN teachers there are currently a number of positions available for mainstream teachers to make the switch into this challenging yet highly rewarding sector of teaching.

Your job role will be demanding and often complex and so you need to have the ability to motivate children and strong classroom management skills. Experience of working with children that have special educational needs or behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is preferred, however more importantly you will need to possess the following qualities:

The ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm but friendly manner.
A broad perspective at all times, and a willingness to learn about young people.
A robust, professional attitude and committed to your continued development.
