Our client is currently urgently seeking a bright, enthusiastic, reliable and hard working experienced cleaners for one of the biggest Soft Services companies in the UK. This is a temporary role based in the Walkden area of Manchester.
All applicants must have relevant cleaning experience. They should be presentable and capable of communicating at all levels and have experience in cleaning. If you want to be kept busy and have the right can do attitude and prove yourself to be reliable and hardworking then we can help you.
Please note this is a temporary cover role.
Hours of work - 6am - 7.30am - Monday to Friday.

Sunsail Club Vounaki offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new. We are passionate about watersports and offer a wide range of water-based activities for all guests, including dinghy sailing and qualifications, waterskiing, windsurfing and kayaking. Our Kid’s Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include tennis courts, fitness studio and mountain biking.
Our season starts in April and ends in November. You will need to be available for the full season. However we are happy to accept applications for our reserve list from candidates who will become available during the season.
About the role
· To provide excellent service at the bar, in the restaurant and pool area
· To carry out bar work and waiter/waitress responsibilities
· Serve drinks within the terms of the liquor licence
· Promote special offers and events
· Create an atmosphere, which encourages guests to use the bar to a maximum
· Handling of cash and use of the cash register
· Keeping wastage to a minimum and charging correct prices to achieve budgeted profit levels
· Stocking of the bar from the cellar the cleaning of the bar, terrace.
· To include washing and polishing tables and other surfaces, sweeping and mopping of floors
· Carry out accurate stock counts

As part of the Pepi Penguin Club you could also be employed as Crystal Private nanny in the customer's chalets, at times you may also be needed to help care for the 4-11year old children in the Whizz Kids Club. Similarly, if you are part of the Whizz Kid Club, you will be responsible for providing the children with an active and exciting experience with bum boarding, snowman building, arts and crafts and drop offs and pick ups from ski school Our Childcare positions require you to be qualified in childcare to either NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, hold a valid First Aid certificate and be CRB screened. Previous experience in childcare and the package holiday environment is an advantage. Being able to ski is not crucial but a desire to learn will mean you have a fantastic winter season. Please make sure that if you apply for this role you have copies of your childcare qualifications as well as a valid First Aid certificate (or be booked on a First Aid course) as you will need these for your interview. To supervise and drive a small team to provide an efficient restaurant and bar service whilst delivering a high level of customer service, in a professional and friendly manner. To work as part of team both UK and local and show self-motivation when required to work individually.

Responsibilities

- Ensure that the bar and restaurant area comply with all company health and safety standards
- Ensure that all local and company policies are met regarding hygiene control
- Implement and supervise cleaning rota’s for all bar(s), terrace, restaurant and surrounding areas
- Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum
- Carry out accurate stock takes
- Organise cellar/store rooms.
- Handling of cash and use of the cash register to provide accurate till readings.
- Ensure stock rotation is adhered too.
- Create an atmosphere, which encourages guests to use the bar to a maximum.
- Liaise with Restaurant and Bars Manager to ensure the operation is fully and appropriately staffed
- Manage staff welfare, morale and motivation by carrying out PDU’s and managing under performing staff
- Liaise with Restaurant and Bars Manager to set targets, monitor products and review guest feedback
- Communicate with kitchen staff and restaurant staff to ensure co-operation
- To provide staff with induction and ongoing training
- Contribute fully to the overall running of the Club, by involvement with social events
- You may be required to move between different resorts according to operational needs
