Summary of job
An exciting opportunity to contribute to supporting, instigating and delivering focused development work and opportunities for young people in the Greater London Middlesex West area by working with both volunteer and staff colleagues from across the County. This is a home-based post and successful applicants will be expected to live within or close to to the Region, in particular the Greater London Middlesex West area.
About you
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload. You will be enthusiastic and able to enthuse others, enjoy challenge and responsibility and be highly motivated. Past or present adult membership of Scouting or Guiding is an advantage together with an understanding of issues facing youth and community services. The job will involve working unsocial hours; you must be able and willing to travel extensively, including spending occasional nights away from home.

The Association has developed a vision and strategy to take Scouting forward to 2018 and beyond. The Scout Association’s Regional Development Service will be an important element in achieving the vision and The Association is currently looking for a new Regional Development Officer to join the existing team.

Your role
• Welcoming and supervising children from 2 to 4 (Petit Club) or from 4 to 17 years (Mini Club)
• Leading game workshops, telling fairy tales and singing songs, entertaining by leading manual and/or sports activities (adapted to each age category)
• Organising game workshops and a weekly show
• Reassuring children and parents
• Being responsible for children’s hygiene and safety
Your profile
• Fluent French compulsory
• Availability and international mobility from 5 to 8 months or during school holidays
• Working experience in childcare supervision (nursery) mandatory
• CPR & First Aid preferred

A major Marine Conservation Charity is looking for an additional member of their team to assist them in gaining new supporters for their cause.
The role is to recruit new supporters at events, trade shows, private sites and locations such as beaches and conservation areas. This ia a one year contract as a test campaign to assess the possibility of rolling the campaign out UK wide on a permanent basis.
You must have the ability to relay information confidently and accurately to members of the public and have the persuasive skills to encourage people to give long term donations.
This is a start up role and the ability to identify premium fundraising locations would be needed in the early stages as well as the ability to analyse various test sites that have been identified. The organisation is located in Ross On Wye but the position will be primarily based from anyhere in the South West to enable them to get to the fundraising locations effectively, this would mean being based from home and possibly going to the head office once a week.
This is a full time post, however there may be be the availibiity of part time hours for exceptional candidates. There will be some weekend work involved in this role and a it is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves to manage their workload autonomously.
The successful applicant will be extremely organised and have experience in working to acheivable targets.
