We are looking for energized and outgoing native English speakers, aged 18 +, who are keen to work with children and happy to be part of a young and dynamic international team. This job is a lot of fun, and a chance to gain a sense of responsibility through childcare. We offer a fixed term contract with minimum wage pay (8h/day)*, and adequate insurance. All of our French camp counsellors are fluent in English, so you will not be isolated from the rest of the team. Main duties/responsibilities On a typical day, each camp counsellor will manage two fun and interactive themed workshops in the morning. In the afternoon, the camp counsellors will organize a variety of entertaining activities such as games and excursions.  List of duties: -  Supervise children’s daily routine (wake-up, meals, showers, tidying up, bed-time, etc.) -  Organize and manage entertaining workshops in a supportive fashion so that the kids feel confident when participating and speaking -  Organize afternoon group activities (team games, visits, sport, etc.) -  Take part in the evening social sessions with the children Candidates will be required to work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. We offer short-term contracts (but you can sign as many as you’d like) with minimum wage pay and adequate insurance cover. Food and accommodation is provided on camp. You must be responsible and conscientious, as you will be instructing the most hazardous activity we provide. It is essential you are fully aware of all health and safety rules and are always aware of potential risks. Safety of Equipment for these activities is of paramount importance.

Pool Lifeguard
You will hold sole responsibility for the day-to-day running of the pool and must ensure all rules and safety precautions are adhered to during and outside of sessions. You will also be expected to teach our Learn to Swim session as part of our Specialist Holiday Programme.

• Current NPLQ or RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification

Main Duties


Care, maintenance and cleaning of pool, and surrounding areas.
Care, maintenance and cleaning of all other sports equipment.
Lifeguarding (if qualified) whilst the pool is in use, to ensure the safety of all clients. · Ensure safety notices are displayed and adhered to.
Organising, implementing and supervision of sports tournaments and outdoor activities
Organising and implementing an indoor entertainment programme to include quiz evening, disco and Karaoke with your fellow sports and activities rep/GA’s. · To assist with housekeeping duties if required.
To assist with Bar duties if required · To plan for current and future development of the grounds with regard to sporting activities.
Play an active role in the maintenance of the Tennis court, Full size Grade A Football/Rugby pitch, Activities area, Archery and help referee of coach sessions.
Any other duties as directed by the Chateau Manager.

About the role
As an Activities Assistant you will be assisting in running the Kid's Club and evening care programme. Providing care, safety and entertainment for children ranging from 5 -1 7 years. Work as a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times. In this exciting and fulfilling role you will be responsible for: 
Ensuring the safety of all children involved in kids club activities Responsible for headcounts and continuous supervision of children throughout the day including meal times. Requirements
• Age 18+
• At least one year’s camp experience (preferred but not essential)
• Fantastic organisational and communication skills
• Experience in customer care, enabling you to efficiently deal with parental queries?
• Great sense of Initiative
• Experience with younger children (Head Nursery Leader)
• It is preferred but not essential that candidates hold a childcare qualification e.g. child development GCSE, CACHE, NVQ first aid, activity instruction awards or have some experience of working within a childcare environment.
• Must be UK/EU citizens or have a valid UK work permit

Head Group Leader
As a Head Group Leader, you will have responsibility for a specific age group, organising sign in when they arrive and sign out when they leave. Like a Group Leader you will care for the welfare of all the children in that group and initiate and instruct activities and games.
You will play the key role in liaising between Camp Management, parents, and Group Leaders. This role involves administration support and the communication of day-to-day issues is a necessity. Full training and support is provided

Head Nursery Leader
Head Nursery Leaders will have the responsibility for children aged 3-4 years of age, our youngest campers. Signing them in and out of camp each morning and evening and like a Nursery Leader you will care for the welfare of all children in that group and initiate activities, games, and non-specialist activities.
You will play the key role in liaising between Camp Management, Parents and Nursery Leaders and will be involved with administration support and the communication of day to day issues. Full training and support is provided

Day Camps are located at superb venues in Ascot, Sutton, Esher, Mill Hill, Northwood, Wimbledon, Woodford, Reigate, Tunbridge Wells, Richmond and Blackheath.
