Young people who are affected by imprisonment are a hidden group. NEPACS is in a unique position to be able to target
resources to reach this vulnerable group. NEPACS runs visitors' centres in 6 prisons in the North East and this means
every family that visit in the North East will come into contact with NEPACS staff and services.
The Youthproject@NEPACS supports young people between the ages of 11 - 17 to visit family members in prison to support
and strengthen family relationships and operates youth rooms in all of the Prison Visitors' Centres in the Durham area.

We are looking to appoint 2 experienced and enthusiastic Youth Workers who will take a lead role in developing youth
provision and facilitating the already established youth rooms.

The posts will be based in HMP's Durham and Frankland, however the successful candidates will be expected to work across
all of the Durham prisons.

Closing date for applications: 27 April 2012
Interviews will be held on: 15 May 2012
