Salary: Basic 12,646.40. OTE 18,000 with commission (uncapped commission scheme)

Part of the Thomas Cook Group, the Thomas Cook Scheduled Businesses Division includes the brands of Gold Medal Travel, Netflights.com, Netflights Retail, Elegant Resorts, Cresta Holidays, Thomas Cook Signature, Thomas Cook Tours and Pure Luxury. This role is based at our Preston Sales Centre selling Gold Medal Travel, Netflights.com, Netflights Retail and some Thomas Cook Signature products.

ROLE:
This role is based at our Preston Sales Centre selling Gold Medal Travel, Netflights.com, Netflights Retail and some Thomas Cook Signature products. The role of a Sales Consultant is to go above and beyond all customer expectations on both the sales and service aspect of customer interaction, whilst maximising all sales opportunities. The sales centre is open 7 days a week and our consultants work 40 hours over 5 days, between 8am and 10pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering calls in a professional and timely manner
- Delivering outstanding customer service on every call
- Delivering required conversions over each trading period
- Maximising all sales opportunities
- Delivering the required ground attachment
- Feedback on pricing issues to sales managers
- Answering sales calls from various brands within the Thomas Cook Scheduled Businesses Division
- Adhering to all call centre call etiquettes
- Answering calls in line with the Company procedures
- Always going the extra mile for every customer
- Follow up on queries from customers
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal and external

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Previous sales experience
b) Previous experience from working in a target driven environment
c) Previous experience working in a customer driven environment
d) Educated to the equivalent to GCSE or O`Level standards
e) Computer literate
f) Knowledge of Microsoft Office products/ and/or in house systems
g) Attention to detail
h) Excellent communication and negotiation skills
i) Self motivated
j) Customer focussed
k) Numerate
l) Positive attitude
m) Ability to work cross department
n) Ability to multi-skill

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) To have travelled outside of Europe
b) Knowledge of travel related systems
c) Flexible approach
