You don't have to be living on the street to be homeless. You may be legally classed as homeless if you are sleeping on a friend's sofa, staying in a hostel, suffering from overcrowding, or other bad conditions. Shelter are here to help all homeless people, providing housing and legal advice as well as running helplines and much more. Did you know that there are almost 100,000 children in the UK that are without an abode/homeless.
Shelter have one of the largest, most established and successful street fundraising campaigns in the UK with in house street fundraising teams in London, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. Due to the proven success of their in house fundraising street teams Shelter are now looking to expand the fundraising campaign to Bristol. To do this we are looking for Street Fundraisers! Expanding to a new region will also allow potential opportunities to develop and progress within fundraising! It is a very exciting time to join Shelter!
The fundraiser position will be start at £7.50per hour with holiday pay (30 days paid holiday plus 8 days bank holiday).
