The Company
Our client is a major player in the Chilled Food industry and has grown organically over recent years by making continuous investments in the infrastructure and systems. With a wide range of high profile brands and products our client has an extremely high profile customer base. Due to further growth our client is now looking to recruit a Graduate who is fluent in Italian for their Purchasing Assistant role based in the North West.

The Role
The remit of the Purchasing Assistant role:-
* Reporting to the Head of Purchasing
* Translate written documents and verbal conversations with suppliers based in Italy
* Working with suppliers, translating both documents and conversations
* New product development and sourcing with the Bradbury team
* Involvement with the sales and commercial teams
* This role will involve some travel to Europe to visit suppliers

The Candidate
Skills and experience required for the Purchasing Assistant role:-
* Recent graduate
* Fluent in Italian
* Good work ethic and strong communication skills
* Must be numerate
* Strong in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

The Reward
In return, this Purchasing Assistant will receive an excellent remuneration package including a base salary of 20k - 25k plus benefits including, healthcare, pension, and 20 days holiday rising to 22 days after one year of service. Due to further growth plans there are excellent career prospects within our client's organisation.
