There is a shortage of foster carers in Sefton and Sefton Fostering Service is looking for someone just like you to become a foster carer and make a huge difference to the life of a child or young person.
Children need your help. Through no fault of their own, life has dealt them a tough hand but if you have room in your home and your family where their voice can be heard you could make all the difference.
There are various types of fostering:
* Emergency / Temporary Placement
* Respite Care / Short Breaks
* Task centred foster care
* Long term foster care
You don't need any specific qualifications and your age, status and sexuality are not an issue when applying to become a foster carer. Training is provided and excellent financial support packages are available.
