Catering Assistant: PGL Travel Ltd is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for children. More than 250,000 young guests enjoy a PGL trip each year, and that means a lot of hungry mouths to feed!
You don't need any experience to apply for this job as we operate a comprehensive training programme.
This is an exciting position that offers you the chance to gain catering experience working in a large-scale catering environment that's fun and supportive.
Our centres vary in size, with the largest catering for more than 900 guests and staff and the smallest cooking for just 50.
Most centres cater for between 120-300 people each meal time.
We believe we offer our young guests and staff a balanced, wholesome choice that fuels them for their day of activities.
After a full season of work, you can apply for a place on our nationally recognised Apprenticeship programme, helping you to earn while you learn and gain a valuable qualification at the end. We also encourage promotion from within and many of
our catering managers originally joined us as Catering Assistants.
